About Your Dentist

Stephen Bellorini, DMD

"Serving the community...one smile at a time!"

My Mission

“To keep my practice and patients on the cutting-edge of advanced dental procedures.”

Professional Excellence for Personal Service

Early in his career, Dr. Bellorini became interested in how technology could enhance people’s lives and challenge the stereotype of the dentist whose solution to every problem is just “drill and fill.” Today, Dr. Bellorini uses his extensive training in implants, lasers, and computer-assisted technology to see the wide variety of possibilities for helping each patient achieve healthy teeth and a gorgeous smile. As a result, he has become a renowned speaker, lecturer, and teacher to other dentists as well as staff and students at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Recent advances in both lasers and CAD/CAM technology have led Dr. Bellorini to be sought after for interviews by dental product companies and journalists. Most importantly, staying on the cutting edge of technology means he is able to provide his patients with the latest advances in all areas of dentistry.

Advanced Education and Community Service

Recently, Dr. Bellorini has continued his surgical training with his long-time mentor, Dr. Arun Garg, a world-renowned clinical instructor. During his two-year training program, he completed two skill levels of tests and documented cases required to attain a Master’s Certification. Only 1% of doctors attain this prestigious award, and out of the 200,000 dentists in the United States, only 3% are members of the International Dental Implant Association. Dr. Bellorini is proud to be a member of both groups and has trained his staff extensively in the necessary materials and techniques to provide these surgical services.

This training enables our office to perform a wide array of surgical services in-house instead of relying on referrals to outside specialists. While in private practice in Connecticut, Dr. Bellorini saw many children who were unable to gain access to dental care. He initiated a local Give Kids A Smile® program and partnered with other dentists in his area to provide access for these children to receive the dental care they needed.

Life & Hobbies

After 18 years of private practice in Bristol, Connecticut, Dr. Bellorini moved to Cape Cod, where he currently lives with his wife, Marcy and their three dogs. Along with his private practice in Brewster, Dr. Bellorini donates his time to helping people on the Cape who are not able to see a dentist regularly -- including the elderly in assisted living homes, U.S. veterans, and individuals without dental insurance.

Dr. Bellorini also works with the clinical staff at the Ellen Jones Community Dental Clinic (Harwich) and the Mid-Upper Cape Community Health Center (Hyannis) to help adults and children on the Cape who have limited resources for maintaining their oral health. For the past few years, Dr. Bellorini and his dental team have opened their office two days each year to U.S. veterans and other underserved people in the community so they can receive free dental care. It is always a rewarding day for all who participate.
